The lecture is tailored to discuss the fundamental concepts and methodology for dose assessment in internal dosimetry practices. Two primary computational models will be considered: (1) Biokinetic, which assess the distribution and excretion of incorporated radionuclide in the body and (2) Dosimetric, which combines radiation transport by converting energy deposited in the body into radionuclide specific dose.
